I am going to share with you some awesome ways to improve your daily habits.

Studies have shown that it will probably take you anywhere from two months to eight months to build a new behaviour into your life. So please be patient with creating your new improved habits.


There are some great lifestyle changes that I recommend to help you become MORE ACTIVE, they are simple and very effective:

  • Park further away from the supermarket or your destination, so you are encouraged to walk. Experts recommend 10,000 steps per day and there is a little gadget called a Helo LX that you can wear on your wrist and it monitors how active you are. These are genius and help keep you super motived.

  • Always walk instead of using your car if you can.

  • Why not meet with your friends for a walk and a catch up, rather than in a cafe?

  • What about getting a dog? Then you will have to take them out frequently for walks. If you do not want the commitment of your own dog, you can volunteer at the local shelters, as they ALWAYS need dog walkers.

  • Always choose to take the stairs and try and climb 2 at a time or just at a faster pace.

  • Walk or climb on escalators. Yes you heard me right, WHEN POSSIBLE, DON´T STAND STILL..

  • When walking, go at a faster pace, rather than a slow leisurely stroll.

Make the decision NOW to be more active in your daily life and you will soon reap the rewards. And increasing your daily activity level will burn more calories.
